Name "Questra" comes from the ancient word for the pursuit of the stars (the quest for the stars). The goal of the authors was to create a light and responsive ball, that they did it in full. The ball used for the first time "space technology" - so it was even more rapid and controlled.

The triads used in World Cup Ball 1994 Questra design, displayed the outlines of stars. The ball was developed in France, and before the first official use of rigorous testing took place both in Europe and in the United States.
